Beau Robert Morgan
February 20, 1996 - February 15, 2025
Celebration of life service for Beau Robert Morgan, 28, of Omaha, formerly of Norfolk, will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Norfolk. Pastor Lee Weander will be officiating the service. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, February 21, also at Our Savior Lutheran Church. The service will be live-streamed at
https://www.youtube.com/@oslnorfolkne. He returned to his heavenly home on February 15, 2025 after a short illness. He passed at their home with his partner, Riley, by his side. His devotion to his family and his love and belief in God gave him peace throughout his life. He was loved, adored, cherished and treasured each day of his life. Stonacek Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
Beau was born to Karl and Julie (Boe) Morgan on February 20, 1996 in Norfolk. He was baptized at Christ Lutheran Church in Norfolk. He attended Christ Lutheran School in Norfolk and was Confirmed at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Norfolk. He graduated from Lutheran High Northeast in 2014. Beau had an amazing group of friends who were always there for him. He served as class President and was active in football and track. Beau used his beautiful vocal talent in choir, small groups as well as the Praise Band at Our Savior Lutheran Church.
Beau then attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln earning a BA in Political Science and a minor in Business. While attending UNL, Beau was very active in his fraternity, Delta Upsilon serving as an officer for the chapter. Beau gained many lifelong friends with his DU brothers. Beau graduated from UNL in 2018.
Beau was then accepted into Creighton University School of Law. He excelled during his time at law school. While also working long hours studying, He was on the Creighton Law Review. In 2020, he published an article: Iowa and Right to Farm: An Analysis of the Constitutionality of Right to Farm Statutes Across the United States in the Creighton Law Review June 2020 edition.
Beau was initiated into Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society. He also won the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Estate and Gift Taxation. As a 1L he started as a summer intern at his dream firm-Koley Jessen in Omaha. He continued to intern for the firm throughout his years at Creighton. Beau graduated with a Juris Doctor (Cum Laude) from Creighton University School of Law.
Beau was offered an Associate position with Koley Jessen after passing the Bar Exam. During his time at Koley Jessen he worked in the areas of Estate Planning and Administration. He specialized in complex wealth transfer planning. Last year, Beau earned his BEI Certificated Exit Planner (CExP) designation. Beau loved working with his clients and colleagues.
Beau's wonderful smile, infectious laughter, love of his friends and family, and eagerness to help others made him an incredible friend and son. He loved spending time building Lego sets, listening to Kacey Musgraves, and traveling to new places and experiencing new adventures.
We are all better people for having known him during his short time on earth. We Love You Beau! Please hug your family and friends and tell them you love them every day.
Beau is survived by his loving parents, Karl and Julie Morgan of Norfolk; his partner, Riley Shenk and their Golden Doodle, Archie of Omaha; his grandparents, Nancy Boe and husband Ron Plucker of Norfolk, Rita and Gerald Brabec of Clarkson; loving aunts and uncles, Patti and Wes Cackler, Marilyn Boe, Belinda and Dan Heimann, Kent Morgan, Bev and Mark Huerter, Kirk and Deb Morgan, and Kletus and Beth Morgan; along with his many wonderful cousins who he adored.
Beau was preceded in death by his grandpa, Bob Morgan; grandpa, Robert Boe; uncle, Jeff Boe; and great grandparents, Ardell and Ileen Boe.
