Bernard Kush Obituary

KUSH-Bernard L., age 83, died at home surrounded by family. Retired from the Omaha Fire Department, co-owner of Kush Brothers Florist. Beloved husband of Viola (King) Kush for 58 years. He will be missed by children
Bernadette Mruz and husband Tom, Joanie Kush, Kevin Kush and wife Lynne; grandchildren, Lindsey and Holly Kesel, Tate Mruz, Toby Hood and wife LaLaine, Keegan and Christian Kush; great-grandchildren, Ky Thomas Oday and Landon Hood; special friends, Bridget Young and the Young/Winkler family; sisters, Helen Fonfara, Regina Moravec, Bertha Reefer, Rosie Schmeckpepper, Evelyn Vogler and husband Don; brother, Lester Kush and wife Delores; many nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to VNA Hospice and Pam Greene.
Family requests memorials to VNA Hospice or VNA Homeless Shelter Program. Wake Service-Wednesday 7:00 PM at the mortuary. Funeral Thursday 9:30am at the mortuary to St. Bridget's Catholic Church at 10:00am. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. Visitation begins Wednesday. 4:00 PM at the mortuary. KORISKO LARKIN STASKIEWICZ
