Cary, NC. Born in Iowa, she spent most of her childhood in Omaha. She attended Blessed Sacrament Grade School, Mercy High, and graduated from Creighton in 1968. Following a 12 year career with IBM, she pursued the study of law, receiving her J.D. from NYC Law School. She was a practicing member of the Bar in NY, NJ, AZ and NC. For the last 5 years of her career, she served as Deputy Attorney General for the State of NC. She is survived by her mother, Mary M. Duffy, Tucson, AZ; brothers, John, David and Dennis; sisters, Maureen Duffy Williams, Sheila, Elaine, and Eileen Duffy.

I remember Pat fondly from my years of working with her at the Attorney General's office. She was a very fine person and I really missed her when she left and have thought of her often.
