Age 16. Colon, NE, passed away in Rural Wahoo, NE. Born in Fremont, NE to Dale and Tamara "Tammi" (Sanderson) Kavan. Preceded in death by her mother Tamara "Tammi" Kavan; and grandfather, Dewain "Joe" Sanderson. Survived by her father, Dale Kavan, Colon, NE; brothers and sisters in law, Aaron and Elizabeth Kavan and daughter Bridget, York, NE, Jordon and Amber Kavan, Aurora, NE; grandparents, Wanda Sanderson and friend Willard Beckman, Malcolm, NE; Vennie and Mary Ann Kavan, Wahoo, NE; special friend, Travis Carnahan, Wahoo, NE; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: 10 AM Tuesday, January 3, 2012, St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Wahoo, NE, Interment; St. Francis Cemetery. VISITATION: Monday, January 2, 2012, 3:00 - 7:30 PM with Vigil Service & Rosary at 7:30 PM, all at the church, also visitation one hour before the service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church or Bishop Neumann High School. SVOBODA FUNERAL HOME

I went to school with Bethany. She was older than me, but always smiled at me when I passed her in the halls. At the rodeo she would always talk to me and my friends about boys, and it was really fun. She was always smiling! She will be missed so much by many! Love you Bethany! RIP.

We were deeply saddened to hear of such a devastating loss. Bethany was a wonderful young lady. She was always a pleasure to be around at all of our horse events; such an upbeat, positive and talented rider. She will be truly missed by her family and many friends, but he has left behind great memories (such a happy warm smile) for everyone to enjoy & cherish.

I am so sorry about you loss. I didn't know Bethany but she has touched so many people, including me. She will be missed. We share a passion of horses and she was an amazing rider here on earth and she will be the best up in heaven. God Bless all of you. YOU have a beautiful angel looking over you forever!

To Dale, Wanda and the entire Kavan family. I did not know Bethany, but from all the comments, articles and videos she was an amazing, beautiful and talented person. Bethany was very lucky to have all of you supporting her through everything she accomplished. You are all such amazing people yourselves. You should be proud that you raised such a wonderful young lady. Through your sorrow, keep in mind the spirit of a loving heart will live in memory. May you take comfort in the sweet memories of a beautiful life. You all are in my thoughts and my heart. I have great sorrow knowing that you all have to endure this grief. My thoughts are prayers are with you all.
