All of this is so unreal. It's so hard to believe you are gone. I wish you could have seen everyone who showed up at your funeral. There wasn't even enough room for people to sit! You are going to be missed by so many people. More people than you could ever imagine.
One of my favorite memories with you was going to Scribner to watch the races, and it was cold out that night. Me and Sarah's toes were cold because we wore flip flops so you gave us your shoes to take turns wearing while you wore ours. You always brightened the day with your humor. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers will be with you all for as long as you need them. This is still all too unreal. I will never forget the times Ben (Rush) and I spent over there standing around talking all night while Brandon and his friends skated around. He was such a funny person, and was always so full of life. The last time I talked to Brandon was at Wal-mart at the end of April-I will never forget that moment for I was sooo lucky to have spent those 20 minutes catching up with him. I love your family-you guys have always been so kind to all of Ben and Brandon's friends. Ben (Rush) and I need to start coming over more again because life is too short to be "too busy" all the time. I'm here if any of you need anything or just someone to talk to. Wow, everything is so unreal. It seems like yesterday that we were in the 2nd grade hallway and you turned around and called me "small fry" because I was so short...to this day every time I hear those words...I sit and think of you. Brandon was a great friend, he tought me a lot about life and he helped me realize alot of things. He will be missed by all who knew him. Brandon was a student of mine as a freshman, and I was struck by his confidence and beautiful smile(of course HE chose when we got to see it;-). I frequently saw and spoke with Brandon in the hallway in the years since. I am heartbroken for your loss.
