Dear Loretta,
I have such wonderful memories of you and Cal visiting my Mother over the years. You two were so special to her - and through her, to my brothers and me. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Aunt Loretta, Tom and Father Jim, I was saddened to learn the news of Uncle Cal's passing. 91 years is a helluva run and he made it with a special class and style that I will remember always.

There are many fond memories of Uncle Cal from all of the reunions, family events, and special occasions over the years. But among my fondest memories were those times when I would run into him delivering bread at my neighborhood grocery store, Stoysich's. He always had a few minutes to chat me up as a young boy running shopping errands for my Mom.

He was also a big fan and supporter of high school wrestling and was always interested in how our team at Ryan High was doing. Finally, I will always be grateful for his personal intervention in getting me a job when I was a college student. He vouched for me to Mr. Dundee, the Assistant Plant Manager, and I was hired as clerk in the thrift store.

I will always remember his warm smile and his gentle demeanor. Uncle Cal was a great American and everyone's favorite uncle.

The Grimm Family of Virginia sends along our prayers and best wishes to the Meyers family.

Love, Rich, Nancy, Brian and Bridget
