My nam is Ann Rosege Marko. I was a Unit Secretary at Methodist in the '70's. Everytme Dr. Sasse walked off that elevator to do rounds, his smile lit up the room! He was a trusted physician, friend. He did surgery on my Mom and myself. He will be missed...

To the Sasse Family children and grandchildren, take heart. Your father and grandfather is in a better, safer place. All of his suffering is over and he is free. Everyone who knew him knew what went on and what he endured and in spite of the whole horrible experience, he took it with grace and dignity like your mother who was such a kind , classy and beautiful woman. He has now reaped his rich reward with God as others will when it is their time as we float down God's river. Just know you are in our thoughts and prayers and that we will miss Carl. He was a wonderful man and he will be sorely missed.

Jan,
We feel very fortunate to have been friends with you and Carl. We miss him terribly already. His presence made the world a better place in so many ways, his departure deprives us all of the great pleasure of being around him. It is a very big loss, so we must all honor his memory together.
