Omaha. Carrol was born on a farm near Fredrick, SD to Daniel Dewey and Edna Harriet (Anderson) Malcolm. Carrol was a homemaker most of her life but later worked at J.C. Penny, retiring in 1984, then as a Baker's Supermarket hostess. Carrol was a member of the VFW Auxiliary; Irvington Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary; Girl Scout Leader; and President of the Silver Streaks, as well as a Parish Council member at St. James Catholic church. She married Daniel Michael Tuzzolino July 8, 1945 in Lincoln, NE. They celebrated 62 years of marriage and had 3 children, Di'Anne Finch-Smith of Marina del Rey, CA, Patricia Ann Goeden of Yankton, SD, and Douglas Michael Tuzzolino (deceased). Carrol is survived by her daughters; brother Wilbert F. Malcolm; 5 grandchildren, Tracy (Tuzzolino) Locke, Jenna (Goeden) Tyrell, Allison (Goeden) Ring, Matthew Goeden, Schuyler Ross Smith; 7 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Carrol is preceded in death by her husband Daniel; son Douglas; and her parents, Edna and Dewey.

Carroll was a kind, wonderful woman. I got acquainted with Dan and Carroll through the Veterans Home. She was an integral part of our support group. She will be missed by us all.
