Cathy L. Swanson, age 68, of Omaha, passed away September 19, 2025.
Cathy was born June 25, 1957, in Council Bluffs, IA, to the late Harold and Merlin (Brown) Swanson. She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1976. Cathy married her sweetheart, Terrance A. Swanson on May 25, 1984, in Council Bluffs. She worked at Nebraska Medical Center for many years as an operator retiring six years ago.
Cathy is survived by her husband of 41 years, Terry Swanson; sister, Cindy (Ron Kopaska) Benson; brother, Marty (Holly) Swanson; nieces and nephews.
VISITATION with the family, Wednesday, 5 to 7 p.m., at Cutler-O'Neill Funeral Home. FUNERAL SERVICE: Thursday, 11 a.m. at the funeral home. INTERMENT: St. Joseph Cemetery.
The family will direct memorials.
