Ceil started high school in Omaha, NE, but finished in Davenport, IA. The family moved to Baltimore, MD where she graduated from Nursing School. After graduation, she worked in New York City for several years before moving back to Omaha, NE to be closer to her family. It was in Omaha where she met Clem. Ceil and Clem were married in 1946 and began their life together in Wisner, NE. Clem's sudden death in 1970 left her to raise their eight children. Ceil worked at Enright Insurance, the Wisner Clinic, and was the school nurse at Wisner/Pilger Public Schools for over 20 years. Ceil was an active member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wisner. The family suggests donations to the church roof fund in her name. The family would like to thank everyone for their kindness and love that was shown to their mother. Jean and family,
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I can only imagine the fun and great memories the McGuire family has of the time when you were growing up - especially if the family members are half as fun and mischievous as Jean May these memories stay with you and help you with the loss. Jean - everyone that knows you at McDonald's sends you their support.

To the family of Ceil - We were neighbor's of your Mother's at Carriage Glen in Lincoln when she lived there. We were privileged to call her a friend. You have our deepest sympathy in your loss. You had a great picture of Ceil in the paper - what a beautiful smile - such a happy personality she had.
God Bless

My sympathies to the entire McGuire family. Your mom was a fun loving person with a big heart and I'm sure she will be missed. Jean, I have so many good memeories from childhood from spending time at your house. I thought any mom who would let us melt crayons on the stove to make string candles was the best!!! My mom would have never let us do that. Know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
