Charlene Wirth Obituary
November 23, 1951 - January 17, 2022
Charlene Ann Wirth (Gibson) passed away on January 17th, 2022, at her home in Bellevue, NE, with her children by her side, at age 70.
Charlene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jim Wirth (2011), her parents Jesse Maurice and Florence Edna Gibson (Kellogg), sister Martha Treat, and brother Jim Gibson. She is survived by her children Jared Wirth, Brad Wirth (Sara Halmes), and Trudy (Steve) Soper, and her grandchildren: George, Lilly, Savannah, Madeline, and Norah.
Charlene was born on November 23rd, 1951 in Denver, CO. She enjoyed growing up in Colorado near the beautiful mountains, which gave her so much love and appreciation for nature. She earned a bachelor's degree in Dietetics from Union College in Lincoln, NE, where she met her husband Jim. They were married on August 12th, 1973. She had a servant's heart, reflected in the many different roles she held through the years as a CNA, teacher's aide, & caregiver. Some of her passions included music, art, quilting, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family. She loved God and sharing the Gospel. With her warmth, kindness, and genuine care, she had a gift for making others feel known and accepted. She was a light in our lives and will be sorely missed.
Please join us in honoring and celebrating her life at a memorial service at Redeemer PCA at 901 Charleston Street in Lincoln, NE, on Saturday, January 22nd, at 10:30am.

I would like to express sincere condolences to Jared, Brad, Trudy and all the grandchildren and relatives from my children and myself. Charlene, Jim, and the family were lifelong dear friends. We shared some awesome times together over the past half century. Charlene was such a loving person, and will be held dearly in our hearts forever. Now she is united with Jim in Heaven forever, both free of pain, and they have eternity to catch up on jokes and stories together.
