Chuck - Today is Mother's Day and you are in my thoughts as well as any other day. You loved our boys with all your heart and your dedication to being a great father was never questioned. My deepest sympathies go out to the family of Chuck. I just recently learned of him through an awesome friend. From all that Kathy has told me and from what I have read here thus far. I know he will be greatly missed by a countless number of people. The lives which he has touched through out his lifetime will surpass our highest guess.
This is a time that is bittersweet. Bitter for those who are alive, who grieve, who miss his touch, his remarks and the love expressed by him. Yet, it is sweet for Chuck. For his suffering has come to an end.

Where do I start? Riding motorcycles, playing shuffleboard, shooting hoops, wrestling around and knocking holes in the paneling in Arts basement, toying with cousins Dean and Kelly? I moved away from Omaha in 97 and lost track of Chuck a couple of years later. I would hear snippets now and then from mutual friends about what was happening with Chuck. My heart goes out to Art and Vicky. Chuck will be missed.

Chuck was such a good man and a wondeful person to be around. I will always remember how he used to make in fun of me or give me great big hugs whenever I went to one of Chris or Corey's baseball games.
