Those of us who had the privilege of working with Chris knew she went above and beyond for everyone who crossed her path. Her wisdom, coupled with her genuine desire to help others succeed and shine, made her respected and deeply loved by all who knew her. I am so grateful I had a chance to know you, Chris. My deepest condolences to the entire family on this tremendous loss. May you rest in peace knowing the deep impact you had on so many of us.

I will remember Chris all my life as a woman who inspired me as to the type of person I want to be. Working together at PayPal, she was intelligent and respected, while at the same time balancing a genuine interest in people. I will never forget how perceptive she was, and at times I felt she could see right through me and know what I was thinking. Whether she saw my concerns, self doubt, or anything else she was there to support. She was someone who expected excellence but also cared very genuinely about people, and that is a balance that is very hard to find. I always knew I had to have my ducks in a row when I presented something to her, but I also knew she would help me get it to where I needed to be. I always trusted that she was in my corner. This is even more amazing when you know that I never reported to Chris! She was that incredible to me without any kind of vested interest in my success, and it made an impression on me I will never forget.
Her enthusiasm and positivity were infectious, and she was always asking about my latest travels and where I was headed to next, remembering so many details.
To Chris´ loved ones, I am so sorry for your loss. To Hannah, your mom was so proud of you. She left a legacy and will be greatly missed.

An incredible lady who left an enormous impact on everyone she came in contact with. I have the fondest memories of working with her during my time at PayPal, a dear friend and mentor who gave her time and support so generously. Treasured memories of so many fun travels and dinners across the US and Europe together with the PayPal crew. Chris laughter was infectious and I can still hear her giggles on a late night arrival to a Fawlty Towers style London hotel together! Chris your memory and your legacy lives on, through all the impact you had on us all and through your beautiful daughter Hannah who you were so proud of. To Hannah and all Chris family my sincere condolences at this heartbreaking and devastating time, keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
