September 10, 1950 - January 15, 2022
Christopher "Chris" John Pilon, age 71, of Crystal, MN, beloved husband, brother, uncle, passed away suddenly at home on Saturday January 15. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Karleen; siblings, Tom (Tim) (Sue Clark) Pilon, Kathy (Gary) Gates, Jan (Denny) Sponsler, Mark (Sue Storick) Pilon, Jeff (Sue Menard) Pilon, Rick (Jennifer) Pilon, Dave (Joanne) Pilon, Susan Bushard; and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Preceded in death by father, Armand; mother, Janet (Needham); brother, Stephen; sister-in-law, Karen; and niece Grace.
In lieu of flowers or gifts the family would appreciate donations to Prenatal Partners for Life https://www.givemn.org/organization/Prenatal-Partners-For-Life or the charity of your choice. VISITATION will begin at 9am on Saturday, January 29 at St. Raphael's Church, 7301 Bass Lake Rd. in Crystal, MN. FUNERAL MASS to be held at 11am and luncheon to follow the Mass.

I was Chris’s manager from 2013-2020, but I was also his friend. He got me into fireworks, and we had many long discussions on the details of what made a good show. Not sure about for anyone else, but Chris’s first response to any question I had for him was ‘6’. Tonight, I am going to fire off 6 mortar shells in his memory. He was such a good man, he will be missed.
