Age 53
WAKE SERVICE Sunday 2pm followed by VISITATION until 4pm at Funeral Home. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Monday 1pm, St. Patrick's Church. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery followed by luncheon at the Council Bluffs Country Club. Memorials are suggested to St. Albert, St. Patrick's Church, Hospice of Southwest Iowa, Creighton Prep and Creighton University. Chris will be remembered for his zest for life, love of family, golf and his beloved Creighton Bluejays. CUTLER-O'NEILL-MEYER-WOODRING

I only knew Chris through his work with me for my grand daughter in an accident. I liked him as soon as I met him the first time. After a few meetings it was like we had known each other for a long time. He was just a very nice person. I am so sorry for your loss. May God comfort you in your time of grief.

Over forty of Chris' USF classmates and Zeta Beta Tau Fraternity brothers are joined with you in prayerful thoughts and condolences. Remembering Chris, my former 5th Avenue neighbor, fondly! My favorite memory of him was hearing the "thunk" of the tennis ball he threw endlessly at the Peters front wall from the street, practicing his fielding and catching! Isn't it funny what we remember about people! My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I can only imagine the heavenly reunion those Tinley angels are having!!

Cindy & loved ones of Chris- We are deeply saddened to have lost such a kind heart, true gentleman and friend in Chris. His love for Cindy, his children, family and friends shined with every conversation I had with him. I was blessed to have gotten to know him the last few years. You are all in our prayers. God bless.

My heart is broken to lose one of the best friends I will ever have in my life. I met Chris my freshman year at Prep. He was the type of friend that gave you confidence in yourself because he believed in you. Not sure I would have finished at Prep without meeting Chris or that my life would be what it is today without him. I wish I could have lost money to him on the golf course one more time. He may be gone but he will never be out of the hearts or memories of my family.
May God rest your soul Christopher John Tinley. We will always love you.
