David Abel Obituary
Age 69
David Abel passed away peacefully at his home in Council Bluffs, IA after being chronically ill for several years. Survived by his wife of 38 years, Susan Abel, of Council Bluffs, IA and his twin children, Wayne Abel of Council Bluffs, and Staff Sergeant Wendy Abel-Lightner, married to Sergeant First Class Richard Lightner of San Antonio, TX. He had one grandchild, Cheyenne Lightner, age 4. David had two siblings, brother Dennis Abel of Carrollton, MO and sister Debbie Forbes of Kansas City, MO. David was a longtime boilermaker belonging the Boilermakers Local 83, Kansas City, MO.
A CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE for David will be Saturday, January 18th at the Community in Action Christian Fellowship Church, 634 Willow in Council Bluffs. VISITATION with the family will be 1pm to 2pm with the service following. CHAPEL OF MEMORIES
