David Blumel Obituary
Omaha. Passed away March 26, 2013. David was born April 21, 1967 in Nebraska City, NE. Graduated from Millard South High School in 1985 and received an Engineering Degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1990. Member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. David fought a courageous battle with cancer for 2 1/2 years before passing away surrounded by his loving family. Survived by daughter, Sydney Lynn Blumel; parents, Bill and Joyce Blumel; brother, Daniel Blumel; sister, Linda Blumel; brother-in-law, Ron Finkel; former wife, Heather Blumel; niece, Paula Thurston; dear friends, Jim Broesch, Shannon Huehn, Rick English and numerous wonderful friends.
VISITATION Thursday, 6-8pm at Braman Mortuary, Southwest Chapel. CELEBRATION OF LIFE Friday, 10am at the mortuary. Interment Voss Mohr Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society, 9850 Nicholas St., Omaha NE 68114. Visit www.bramanmortuary.com

We had the pleasure of working with Dave at HSH. He had the best sense of humor and always knew how to say things so politically perfect, even in an unperfect situation!
