Dennis Hume Obituary
November 22, 1938 - November 12, 2024
Dennis Lee Hume, 85, was born in Richmond, VA. He proudly served in the US Army from February 1961 to February 1963 at Fort Benning, GA. He was a Founding Sponsor of the National Museum of the US Army. He graduated from UNL with a degree in Business Administration and was elected president of the Personnel Association of the Midlands in 1980.
He was preceded in death by his lovely wife, Michal; and parents, Leo and Leona Hume.
He is survived by his sister, Linda Klein; stepchildren, Roger (Lynn) Behling and Tammy (John) Ryan; stepgrandchildren, Emily Behling, Andrew Behling, Maize Ryan, and Adam (Hunter) Ryan; nephews, Jason and Brian Klein; many other family members and friends.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at a later date at United Methodist Church in Omaha with placement at Omaha National Cemetery.
