I remember Diana fondly. She was so vibrant, charming, and a great colleague. She loved dancing, her work, dogs and most of all her family.

Diana was one of the first people to welcome me when I returned to my alma mater as faculty in 2012. I will always remember her as a woman of passion - for medicine, dancing, her family and of course, dogs (not necessarily in that order). She was and is special, and will be sorely missed.

I met Diana 23 years ago. From a brilliant resident she became a super accomplished professor of medicine and a scientist , who loved travel, ballroom dancing and dogs. She would want us to remember her as the vibrant assertive person that she was.
