Diana F. Florescu M.D.

I remember Diana fondly. She was so vibrant, charming, and a great colleague. She loved dancing, her work, dogs and most of all her family.

Diana was one of the first people to welcome me when I returned to my alma mater as faculty in 2012. I will always remember her as a woman of passion - for medicine, dancing, her family and of course, dogs (not necessarily in that order). She was and is special, and will be sorely missed.

Dr. Diana Florescu will be greatly missed. She was a shining star at UNMC. She positively impacted those around her, and she save countless lives thru her dedication and professionalism. I am grateful to have known her. She will be missed. My deepest condolences to her family.

I worked with Diana in the infectious diseases division a few years ago. I knew her to be a smart and dedicated physician-scientist. She was a very kind and caring person. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.
