Dominick Joseph Zappia, Jr., age 75, of Missouri Valley, IA, passed away on September 30, 2024.
Dominick Zappia, Jr., was born on August 24, 1949, to Dominick Zappia, Sr. and Mary Jane Scott in Milwaukee, WI. Dominick had three sons, Dominick, Anthony, and Marco; and nine grandchildren Marcus, Aidan, Maya, Vincent, Isaiah, Samuel, Andrew, Daxton, Jagger.
Dominick lived a long and colorful life. His faith and family were his foundation as well as enjoying fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary Jane Scott; brother, Randolph Scott' and former spouse, Mary Kathleen "Kathy" Zappia.
Dominick is survived by his sisters, Sandra Richard, Vicki Scott, and Lara Vonderlage.
VISITATION will be 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, October 7, 2024, at Hennessey Funeral Home, with PRAYER SERVICE at 7 p.m. MASS will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at St Patrick's Catholic Church in Missouri Valley.

To the family of Don, My name is Denise Berry, my brother is Anthony Berry (Tony) we are just seeing this (July 20th) this is heart breaking for us all we loved Don dearly he was one of the kindest people we know,always coming to Omaha to visit us and traveling to California to watch my nephew play ball. Don left a mark on my entire family and so many friends, he will be truly missed he was like our brother we are so sorry for your loss our hearts go out to you all
