Originally from Osmond, a longtime resident of Washington state, died April 1 in Fremont.
Preceded in death by parents, Eugene and Cecilia "Sue" Liewer; first wife, Cindy; and son, Gregory. Survived by wife, Tamara; three sisters; Anita Morrell, Mary Jane (Duane) Weber, and Gloria (Bill) Duenwald; four children; Patricia (Joe) Zuniga, Steven (Keiko) Liewer, Joan Eik, and Scott; five stepchildren, Linn (Bill Brophy) Golter, Barry Weber, Lori (Bob) Jennings, June (Sheldon) Smith, and Rod (Michelle) Weber; 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
VISITATION / VIGIL / ROSARY: Thursday, June 22, 6-8pm, Moser Memorial Chapel, 2170 N. Somers Ave., Fremont. MEMORIAL MASS: Friday, June 23, 10am, St. Patrick Catholic Church, 3400 E. 16th St., Fremont. Mass will be livestreamed at MoserMemorialChapels.com. BURIAL: Friday, June 23, 2:30pm, with military rites at Omaha National Cemetery, 14250 Schram Road, Omaha. Memorials to Catholic Charities of Omaha (ccomaha.org) or the Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.org).
