Don is survived by his mother, Shirlee Solotorovsky of Phoenix, AZ; his wife of 41 years, Jayney Arnold (Solo) Solotorovsky; son, Corey Solotorovsky and wife, Amy, of Broomfield, CO; daughter, Alynne Wize and husband, Nathan, of Omaha. His pride and joy were grandchildren, Emy and Alex Wize. He is also survived by sisters: Susan (Sheldon) Babendure of Scottsdale, AZ, and Barbara (Mark) Null of Jackson, MS; many nieces and nephew; grand-nephews; aunt, Sandra Belgrade; cousins: Bob, Bruce and Jim Belgrade; special friends: Jan, Jack, George, Sonny, Pat, Janelle, John, Heidi and John. He found something unique and special in each and every one of his extended family.
Don was a veteran and very proud of his service to our country. A wonderful photographer and computer wizard, he made many memories for anyone who asked with his creative and different outlook. He was a long-time employee of Falstaff and then Nebraska Warehouse. Getting paid for an honest day's work was very important to him.
Don fought a courageous battle with cancer. He didn't want to leave us and we didn't want him to go.

We were so sad to read of Don's passing. We have been knowiing your family for 32 years! Alynne and Kristi met in Kindergarten and graduated from high school together. They shared girl scouts, Saturdays and recitals at Pat Carlson's studio and, of course, Squires, and all along the way as we were watching our girls grow into beautiful women, there we were, Don and Jayne and Mike and Donna. Don's spirit will live in all of us forever. We thank God for the gift of knowing your family headed up by Don. Our greatest sympathies and prayers go with each of you.

It always amazed me how Don ("Mr. Solo") could be laughing so hard he'd be crying. Then, in the very next breath, slam his hand down on the table and proceed to tell us exactly how things were in the world: "And I'll tell you why..." He will be missed.

Don was like a big brother to me. We had photography and many other things in common. I loved him very much and will miss him as we all will. God bless you Don for being such a wonderful friend.
