Doris Sims Obituary
August 21, 1934 - July 16, 2021
Jean passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; mother, Susie Johnston; and 2 infant granddaughters. Survived by sister, Deanna Warren; brother-in-law, Jerry Sims; children: Mark (Tami), Michelle Jacobsen (Dennis), and Mitchell; 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private family interment at the Omaha National Cemetery Wednesday July 21, 2021 followed by a Celebration of Life luncheon at 11:30am at Sgt. Peffers, 13760 Millard Ave. We would love to have friends of Bill and Jean stop by and pay their respects, share stories and have lunch.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Lied Transplant Center at the University of Nebraska Medical.
