Gini led an exceptional life. It would be hard to find someone I admire more. Ours is a friendship of three decades and through that I saw her tackle her undergrad and achieve an MBA. She won many, many awards for her writing and editorial work. She gave back to the professional community through her work with the marketing professional association.
She built a successful life but she also built a fulfilling life, filled with the love and closeness of family, friends. and her dear animals. She planned her retirement carefully and achieved financial security. She was highly valued in her employment because she was not only talented, she was efficient. Her life included extensive foreign travel--to England, France, Italy, and even Egypt. Her home and gardens were beautiful, reflecting her highly developed esthetic sense.
We should all live life so well.

My prayers are with you. Gini was such a blessing to so many of us. Even though I didn't see her as often as I would have liked, she never forgot to include me. May God strengthen you at this time of loss.

Sincerely,

Dear Michelle, David, Daniel, Sophie, Megan and Alex: My deepest sympathies to you in this time of sorrow! Michelle and David, you can know in your heart how much you helped your dear mom get through her last illness; you never left her side! I have never seen acts of love greater than what you showed us all. We will all grieve for our dear Gini--she was my best friend and confidant and I dread having to go through life without her, as I'm sure you do too. Know that she will be missed by many and take comfort in knowing we will be able to help in any way.
