Preceded in death by parents, Edward Sr. and June Sterba; sister Mary Kay Huff. Survived by wife Jeanette; children, Jeff (Lisa) Sterba, Debbie (Mark) Thielen, Joyce (Bob) Barbati. Barb Novacek; 11 grandchildren, Hunter and Taylor Sterba, Nicholas (Jennifer), Rob, Cody and Katelyn Thielen. Danielle and Brianna Barbati, Russell, Brendon and Dusty Pond; 2 great grandchildren, Caden Thielen and Hayley Barbati; sister Barbara Knudsen; brother Larry Sterba.
FUNERAL Monday 9:30am Korisko Larkin Staskiewicz Chapel to St. Gerald Church for 10am MASS, VISITATION Sunday 1-4pm, with 4pm Rosary at Funeral Home, Interment, Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, MEMORIALS to the Holy Family Shrine or the Newman Center in Lincoln. KORISKO LARKIN STASKIEWICZ

Jeanette, Jeff, Debbie, Joyce, & Barbie - We are so sorry for the loss of EJ. He was such a wonderful man & good father. I remember him from the time I was a little girl! May he finally rest in peace & God provide ya'll some peace in his absence. I know Mom will truly miss one of her best friends. Remember that ya'll are in our prayers.
