She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Bernesser.
Elisabeth is survived by her daughters, Linda Halstead (Frank Cooksley) and Gloria (Richard) Schuldt; grandchildren, Amanda (Timothy) Lukowski and Allan (Lisa) Schuldt; great-grandchildren, Tanner Lukowski, Emma Lukowski, Morgan Lukowski, Addison Schuldt, and Spencer Schuldt.
