Florence Meier Hastings

HASTINGS-Florence Meier, age 79, of Yutan, NE, died on Sunday, February 12, 2006 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, NE. Florence worked for a transportation specialist. She is survived by her daughters Jane and husband Ron Schroer of Sun City,
TX, and Mary Hastings of Yutan, Ne, sons Tom and wife Patty of Gretna, Josef and special friend Michele Carbaugh of Niobrara, NE, Michael and wife Suzy of Pender, NE and Eddy and wife Patty of Omaha, NE as well as 15
grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Florence is also survived by her three sisters Fern and Don Gricus of Northbrook, Illinois, Frances Collins of Bettendorf, IA, and Carmen and Leroy Nilges of Dakota Dune, S.D.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at St. John's Catholic Church in Pender, Fr. Michael Malloy will be officiating. The visitation will be held at the church on Tuesday from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery in Pender.
