I have had the privelage of working with Florence for the past several months on the night shift and it has always been enjoyable to walk in at night and her say here is my favorite girl with the curly hair.
I have also been lucky enough to get to come in on the evening shift a couple of times during dinner and she would start smiling and laughing when I would show up because we would share stories about her family. There was one evening that I had come in to work the evening shift the week before March 1 when she had asked me for some chocolate milk so I had gotten her some and when I had brought her the milk she (Florence) asked me why it took me so long to bring her the chocolate milk I had told her in a jokingly manner that I had to hop in my car drive to a dairy farm milk a chocolate cow that would give me chocolate milk for her and drive back to give it to her and she started laughing and thought it was fun and kept on talking about it and telling everyone about it that evening.

I have known Florence and Howard for over 5 years and Brookestone Village just won't be the same without her. How she looked forward to Howard's visits.
I brought my dog to see Florence one day and every day since she would ask about him and what he did during the day when I was away.
One day, a very tiring day, I walked into our home and mistakenly called our dog Florence. I told her of my mistake and we always laughed about it. She loved the staff and we loved her. She was one of a kind.
Florence made a difference in my life.

Delivered Dental Services extends our deepest sympathy to Florence's family. It was a joy visiting her every month to help her with her oral hygiene. She always knew we were there to put the bubble gum fluoride on her teeth. We were always entertained by her stories, especially the one about how she got her name. She was one of a kind and a pleasure to get to know. The family will be in our thoughts.

Words cannot express how much I will miss Florence. I had the joy of caring for her for the last few months. Every night, I would come into Florence's room and check on her and as I would leave, she would thank me and call me her "hunny bunny". I will think of her every time I see a Beanie Baby. You will be greatly missed Florence. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Uncle Howard, Clayton, Holly and families:
Marty, Margaret and I have such wonderful memories of Aunt Florence and your family. Staying with you on the farm, riding the tractor, riding horses, playing hide and go seek in the house, eating our meals around the big kitchen table ... Aunt Florence was always there for us. Showing interest and support in everything we did and became. She was a special Aunt, Sister, and Sister-In-Law to our family.
Take special care, and as you spend time sharing memories, may your heart be filled with joy!
