Gary Glissman of Omaha, succumbed from a battle with Multiple Myeloma Cancer on Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Gary was born on September 20, 1950, to Henry and Joan Glissman. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years Paula Glissman; mother, Joan (Glissman) Pistillo; sister Cindy Glissman; nephew Christopher Short and wife Sarah; niece Kelly Warner; a great-niece; and many great-nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his father Henry Glissman; and son Michael Glissman.

Gary graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 1984 and was involved in senior level healthcare operations his entire life. He worked for Nebraska Children's, UNMC, Telehealth Services, held several COO and RVP positions, and retired from his career as Chief Operating Officer at the Urology Cancer in Omaha.

Gary was proud to be a Boy Scout Troop leader where his son became an Eagle Scout. His son Michael was diagnosed as a teenager with Klinefelter Syndrome. Gary actively served on the Board of Directors for the Association for X and Y Chromosome Variations (AXYS) to support and educate others of Klinefelter Syndrome.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Tuesday, February 28th, 2pm at West Center Chapel, with VISITATION starting at 1pm. INTERMENT: Flower Hill Cemetery. Memorials are appreciated to the AXYS association at genetic.org
