To Gayle's family, my heart goes out to you all. I had the honor of almost 20 years with Gayle as a professional and friend. When I was Chair of the Council Bluffs Zoning, she inspired me always as she researched, prepared and became so knowledgeable regarding any obstacle placed in front of us. As a friend she was always ready to lend a hand. I will miss her, our community was better with her in it.

My sympathy to the family of Gayle at this time. She was a friend to my late husband and me and understood local politics at an amazing level. So many stories! She invited me to the book club at Field Club. She was a longtime supporter of Douglas County Historical Society. She will be missed by many!

To Gayle Mulmquist family, over the years Gayle was always a steadfast friend to so many. She was always the first person to volunteer and help out at any democratic event! She always had a story to tell and a memory to share. I can remember sitting with her after many events, she truly was a historian of politics city, state and federal and a wonderful person! May the perpetual light shine upon her.

Gayle was a wonderful person with knowledge about so many issues. She was always willing to step up and volunteer to help others. We served on several committees together over the years. She will be missed. Rest in peace Gayle. You left Sarpy County a better place.

So very sorry for your loss. Gayle certainly was a wonderful woman.. when I served on the planning commission she was a true force, intelligent, organized and such a great contributor to our city. As a friend she was caring and giving of her time and advice. She will be missed.

Nobody was as considerate as Gayle Marie! She was a year ahead of me at Mercy, and was a member of the "Marie" club! She never misseda birthday,or any holiday. She will be missed.
