George was always an inspiration. It was an honor to have known him and call him my friend. The time I let slip by without staying in touch is my loss.

I first met George almost 25 years ago in Council Bluffs - he sold me my first, second, and third computer, then hired me to work with him at Radio Shack. He encourage and mentored me into becoming a manager of my own store in Bellevue. He was always encouraging, positive, competeive in a good way, and never said anything about anyone if it wasn't good. He had an infectous laugh, and loved to see the funny side of things. There should be more George's in this world. He will be missed.

During the forty-two years I had the honor of knowing George, I realized that he was a honest and fair man who was respected by all. George was courageous and had that special gift of bringing the best out of all those he associated with.

I will miss him dearly.
