Golden was a fantastic and unforgettable inspiration to me as a young female architect. I worked in his firm for 7 years from 1980 to 1987, working first on Fr. Flanaghan High School. I have thought of him often over the years and just referred to his influence upon me in an interview less than 2 weeks ago. I have so many clear memories of him and of your whole family. I am so grateful for having gotten the chance to work with him. I have sympathy for your great loss. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Golden was an inspiration to me as I was just starting out in my professional life. His generosity, patience and kind heart allowed me to have the courage to pursue my own dreams and realize my potential. Golden will always be remembered as a very influential person in my life. Although you may not remember me, as it was long ago that I worked on 42nd and Douglas with you all, I will always remember, respect and love your dad for seeing in me what I could not see myself.

I have always admired Golden since the very first time I met him nearly 50 years ago during his Leo A.Daly times, I have been honored to work as an engineer on many of Golden's building designs.
He was one of the most fascinating , gracious , kind , funny yet serious , talented and considerant persons I have ever had the good fortune to meet. My prayers are with his family .

I have always admired my cousin, Golden. I will miss him dearly. He was such a gracious and unique man very dedicated to his religion, family, and work. He was serious and uncompromising about his beliefs and I respected him dearly for that. When I was young, I remember him as funny yet serious, kind, gentlemanly, and providing me with much encouraging and advisory words. He always told me funny stories about his children and events that happened as they were growing up. I think about him often in my life. My prayers are with his family in this time of sorrow. God Bless you.
