I am shockedand sad in learning of Dr Prilucks passing. I moved away in 2012 and that was probably the last time that I had my eyes checked by Dr Priluck. Im a health care professional and I became ill which started out with blood shot eyes. So the first Dr I seen was Dr Priluck. I have been a patient of his since 2001. He literally saved my eyes and was part of a team of Drs that saved my life. I will always be grateful. My prayers to his family. He was an outstanding person and physician.

My sincerest sympathy to all of the Priluck family. I have been a patient of Dr. Priluck's since 2008. I know my eyes frustrated him as much as they did me. He always wanted to be able to do more and I never doubted him through 5 surgeries. He was a kind and caring man who will be deeply missed by so many of us.

We are shocked and sadden of Dr. Priluck's passing. We only knew today from a friend that we referred to Dr. Priluck a couple of years ago.
Dr. Priluck was the best of the best in everything he did. His loss is mourned by our entire family. He was the most compassionate and caring Physician we ever known. He treated and returned the vision to my father. I remember him coming to my dad's hospital room at Bergan Mercy in the late evening. He took a look at his eyes and decided to personally help put him in a wheel chair and he wheeled him to his clinic in the Physician building. He unlocked his clinic, spent over two hours conducting more extensive testing, and kept asking if my father is comfortable or needed anything. Within two weeks of treatment, my dad's vision came back. No other Physician would have ever did what Dr. Priluck did that evening. I was so over whelmed with gratitude that I could not even think how I can repay him.
We brought my aunt from Egypt to see him. She lost her vision due to complication from poisoning. No one in Egypt could help her. They told her that she will be blind the rest of her life. He treated her for six months and was able to correct her condition so she is able to see close by and watch TV. He improved her quality of life beyond imagination. Since my Aunt knew about Dr. Priluck passing, she does not stop praying for him and his family.
We are in debt to Dr. Priluck for the joy he brought to our family. He will always be in our prayers and we convey our sincere condolences to his family for their loss. Dr. Ira Priluck was one of a kind and will deeply be missed by everyone that got to know him. I am so sad and I pray to God to give comfort to his family and to enter him paradise. In the Name of Allah, the Infinitely Compassionate, the Most Merciful, we pray for Dr. Ira Priluck's family for comfort and strength and we pray for Dr. Ira Priluck to be in a much better place in the hands of God. I am so sorry for your loss. Dr. Priluck always asked about my boys, and often shared about his children (with pride!) He would put his hand on mine when he knew I was worried, reassuring me that he wouldn't let me go blind. His words were gentle and reaffirming and I know that God used his hands to help me still see. I will miss his humor, his wisdom and having him to lean on when I need him. May God grant you his peace at this time and in the days ahead. You can be assured he has touched so many lives for the better. I praise God for putting Dr. Priluck into my life, I will miss him dearly.

My husband & I appreciated Ira so much. He will be remembered as a kind and caring doctor; he had a brilliant mind and great skills as a surgeon but, I liked his sense of humor most. He enriched the lives of all of us. I feel distinctly poorer now that he is gone. He is greatly missed. My condolences to his precious family.

I've been seeing Dr Priluck ever since I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. He was one of the most caring physicians I've ever known. My condolences to his family.

I WAS SADDEN ABOUT TH LOST OF DR PRILUCK. WHEN TH NURSE CALLED AND SAID I HD RESCEUDALE MY APPOINMENT MY MOUTH DROPPEDE. I WAS IN SHOCK. I BEEN SEEIN DR PRILUCK OTEN ON AND ON FOR YEARS. SOMETIME WHEN I WENT TO IS OFFICE I DIDNT FEEL LIKE I NEED TO BETHERE. BUT I HAD TWO REFERRAL FROM TWO DOCTOR SENDING BACK TO SEE HIM, HE WAS ALWAYS CARING AND WHEN IF FET LIKE I WASNT LISTENING THE TALK TO MY PARENTS ABOUT MY EYES. I HA THREE SURGEY TWO ON MY LEFT AND ONE ON MY EIGH. ON Y LEFT I WAITED TO LATE FOR HIM TO SAVE THE EYE. BUT I LISTEN WHEN HAD SIGNS ON MY RIGHT. HE IS VERY GOOD. HE WILL TRULY BE MISSED.

Dr. Priluch was such a wonderful, caring doctor. 20 years ago I had been treated with laser for wet macular degeneration and had lost central vision in that eye. When it started in the second eye I asked for a second opinion. It was a Saturday morning and Dr. Priluch came, from the golf course, and prevented me from having laser in the second eye and has kept my vision intact ever since. He was always so friendly and compassionate. He will be truly missed. My deepest sympathy to all of his family.

I met Dr. Priluck years ago when he graciously treated my aunt. He has been my own doctor since 2010 and I so appreciated his care. I wish I had told him so! We have lost a great doctor all too soon. So glad he crossed my path. My eyes say "Thank you!"

Dr. Priluck has been my doctor for 30 years and I was devastated to hear he had passed away. He was not only my doctor but also a friend. He was so proud of his family and we discussed what was going on with each visit. He was the most caring doctor I have ever met and he will be missed terribly. There is no one better than Dr. Priluck. He met my 5 week old daughter over July 4th weekned on an emergency basis. Almost 30 years later, he continued to care her. This news is very sad and way too soon. Our family is very thankful for Dr. Priluck's medical knowledge, expertise and care he has given over the years. Dr. Priluck will surely be missed.

My sincere condolences to the family. When I was in college, I was referred to Dr. Priluck by my father when the two of them were in the Medical Arts Building. I will never forget the care and concern that Doctor gave me when he discovered leaking blood vessels in my eyes. His care and concerned saved my eyesight. Later he would exhibit the same care and concern with my father. A wonderful and compassionate doctor.

My late husband was a patient of Dr. Priluck's in the 1990's. When JIm passed away in 1998, Dr. Priluck called personally to express his condolences. One Saturday morning in the mid 90's, I went in to pick up a pair of glasses. I mentioned to my eye doctor that I was seeing flashes in my right eye. Two hours later Dr Priluck was performing detached retina surgery. I'm sure he had something better to do that Saturday. since then he's repaired many tears in both eyes and I'm convinced if not for him I would be seeing out of one eye. He was always kind, calm and very competent. He will be missed.

I was 40 when I had an eye occlusion. After a few different attempts to remedy the problem he suggested a injection for my eye that was not FDA approved yet but was showing promising results. He was my angel. All my test showed nothing else wrong - no reason for this occurrence; just a fluke. He had such patience and compassion for his patients. He will be missed by many. He was a Godsend. I was in good hands with him; now he will be in good hands for eternity. My thought and prayers are with your family.

I first meet Dr Priluck when I was 17(I'm now 37). I had been referred to him for emergency surgery. As someone who had never been in a hospital since birth I was extremely scared and didn't know what to expect. After our pre surgery meeting I was left as ease. His confidence and extreme care he took in his patients truely showed what kind of man he was. He will be missed by more then his family, he had an extended family in his patients. I will truely miss his kind heart or his loving care he took.
PS And his hair always being a little messed up from his gear he wore at his office.

I'm just heartsick. Dr. Priluck was my Ophthalmologist for over 25 years. He kept me from going totally blind. My prayers go out to his family, friends and other patients. God bless you, Doc.
