Veteran, U.S. Marine Corps Fourth Division WWII; member: Knights of Columbus (4th Degree) and Chalice Club; American Legion and V.F.W; lifetime member, D.A.V. Preceded in death by parents, Stanley and Gertrude Edick. Survived by wife, Patricia A. Edick; sons, James Edick, Jr., Bob Edick and wife Nancy; daughters: Chris Allen and fiancé Mike Mappes, Karen Bergen and husband Greg, Kathy Gerber and husband Bill, Mary Mausbach and husband Todd; 20 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren.
VIGIL SERVICE Sunday, 7:00 p.m., St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 6116 Dodge. FUNERAL MASS Monday, 10:30 a.m., St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. Entombment, Resurrection Mausoleum with full military honors by Benson VFW Post #2503. Memorials to St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church or Girls and Boys Town.
