Harry, There are many of us that grew up in Gering with Jim that have fond memories of him and your family. Several of the guys were on many scouting trips with the two of you. Many of us spent hours in school or at church with Jim. We missed him and your family when you moved. Our thoughs and prayers are with you and the rest of the family in this tremendous loss that you have experienced

Gering High Class of 59

Jim was an integral part of the Gering High School class of 1959. Because he moved in our Sophmore year he did not graduate with us. He attended both East Ward and West Ward Grade schools. Was involved in athletics and Scouts as was his father Harry. We have many good memories of our times growing up with Jim. We share the grief of the family and friends of Jim. We also share the positive things that he contributed to our lives many years ago. Some of us also had the privilege of going to church and youth group activities with Jim. We loved you and your familiy.

Linda, Jenny and all of Jim's family,
I am sorry to hear about Jim's passing. Please know that Jim will remain in my memories, thoughts and prayers. As a fellow fishing buddy of Jim's, I know that he is in a better place; probably fishing for those 5 lb. bass.
We will certainly miss Jim's personality and caring for others, especially all that he did for the Ollie Webb events.
It was an honor to know Jim.
