Jean Lucille Erickson, age 95, Wahoo, NE. Preceded in death by husband, Morris; parents, Walter and Clara Lindgren; sisters, LaVerne (Elmer) Vermeline, Helen (Richard) Houfek; brothers, Duane (Margie) Lindgren, Robert Lindgren and Roger (Janet) Lindgren. Survived by children, Timothy, Susan and Thomas Erickson; daughter-in-law, Julie Erickson; sister-in-law, Maretta Lindgren, Wahoo; many other nieces, nephews and friends.
FUNERAL: 2 p.m., Saturday, Alma Lutheran Church, Mead. VISITATION: 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, at funeral home. Memorials Alma Lutheran Church, Saunders County Historical Society, Saunders Medical Center Auxiliary.

My first memory of my aunt was of her giving my new baby brother a bath on her farmhouse kitchen table when I was about four years old. She became a mentor to me in our chosen professions as nurses, as well as setting a good example of diligence, hard work, endurance, and dedication in caring for family and others. I will miss her!
