Jean A. Semrad, age 73, of Omaha, entered into eternal rest Friday, August 2, 2024, in Omaha.
She was born December 4, 1950, in Wahoo, NE, to Edward and Norma Kontos (Polak). On October 9, 1971, she was united in marriage to Paul Semrad in Wahoo.
She is survived by her daughters, Kerri Murtaugh (Ryan), Cindi Brown (Mark); grandchildren, Tyler, Brock, Rease, Zach, Nick and Blake; sister, Jane Woita (Randy); her brother, Ken Kontos (Elaine); sisters-in-law, Nancy Hoops (Bob), Barbie Bagley (Dennis), brother-in-law, Larry Codr; and many other family members and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband, Paul Semrad; parents, Edward and Norma Kontos; brother-in-law, Pat Semrad; and sister-in-law, Kathy Codr.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Saturday, August 10th, 10:30 a.m., at St. Gerald Catholic Church, 9602 Q St., Ralston, NE 68127, with VISITATION starting at 8:30 a.m., and ROSARY at 10 a.m. INTERMENT: Resurrection.
Lunch following the burial, at Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak-Cutler, West Center Chapel, 7805 West Center Rd., Omaha
