Elkhorn, NE. Preceded in death by son, Larry; and wife, Beverly. Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, David and Michelle, and Mike and Coleen, all of Omaha; daughters and son-in-law, Carol and Randall Barker, Springville, UT, and Tracy Dunn, Omaha; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and sister-in-law and brothers-in-law, Bethel and John Ernst, Holiday Island, AR, and Stanley Kominski, Dayton, OH.
VISITATION Tuesday 12Noon-7pm, with the family receiving friends 4-7pm, and a Wake Service at 7pm, all at the Funeral Home. FUNERAL MASS Wednesday 10:30am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Elkhorn. Dave and family.. I'm saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. I had the privilege of working for and getting to know your father while I was at Baker's. On behalf of everyone that worked at 50th & Grover you have our heartfelt condolences. The Baker's Super Market Omaha once knew passed away many years ago. But our memory of that once great company lives on in our minds thanks in large part to the effort & passion of your father which helped make it Omaha's favorite place to buy groceries. He is a great example of a skilled professional and a consummate gentleman. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Dear family of Jerry....my sincerest and loving thoughts go out to you all, what a super human being Jerry was.....as a father, husband, but for most of my knowing him, as the best of the best, that Baker's Super Markets ever had...Stewart, (rest in peace),our sons David, Bob and Tom all at one time or another, worked with Jerry...I hope Jerry and Stewart will meet in their final resting homes and talk 'old times'!
