Jerry Powers, 85, passed away on October 9, 2024, in Washington State. Born on April 12, 1939. He lived the majority of his life in Omaha, NE. He lived a full and vibrant life marked by the love of his family and the memories they created together.
Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Pat (Lydia) Powers. He leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication to his family, survived by his daughter Sandy, son Tim, two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family has decided there will be no services. Jerry's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

I liven next door to jerry in omaha ,we have many long talks ,drink beer ,he drank wine ,I mow the grass or odd jobs for him ,we grow gardens ,Jerry could grow the best tomatos ,I remeber always doing the football pool at jerry house except ne vs iowa ,that bet was for me and jerry,he like Nebr. ,I like Iowa. I have so many fond memories,he was kind loving man.Me and Laurie will miss you rest in peace now you may reunite with Pat ,best friend

I had the honor of visiting Jerry nearly weekly for the last year of his life. His smile lit up the room each time I walked in and his witty one liners always made my day. He was funny and kind and I will miss him. My condolences to Sandy and family.

We had the privilege to care for Jerry for a little over a year,in our Adult Family Home. He was the sweetest guy in the world,always cracking jokes and smiling! We will always remember him and his amazing personality! Sincere condolences to his daughter,Sandy,his son in law,Phil and his entire extended family! May we all find comfort knowing that he is in the presence of the Lord,pain free,rejoicing with his loved ones!
