It warms my heart to read all the wonderful things expressed about my brother Jim. I was blessed to meet so many of his friends at the funeral and see him through your eyes.
I wanted to thank everyone for sharing in his life and the things he loved. Thank you everyone who sent flowers, cards, and participated in the memorial service and luncheon at the Rod and Gun Club.
I have realized through his sudden death that everyday counts and we should live each day like it is our last. I have learned to never put off doing important things. To live each day without regrets. Jim would want us to see life a little different from this experience and we can honor him by finding ways to love better, forgive more freely, and follow our dreams.
I encourage his friends to remember him often and share stories as this is a good way to cope with the grief we all feel.
Thank you all again,
Nancy Littrell

Our deepest sympathy for the Gambrell family. I have known Jim for 30 years and he worked for me in the Air Force. We developed a friendship instantly as you can imagine as that was Jim's nature. We were in business together and he saved my life 29 years ago for which I am forever grateful. I miss him so much whereas I always took it for granted that he was in Bellevue living life to its fullest and did not do a good job of touching base with him. I have been to LaPlatte Cemetary and will continue to visit Jimbo on his serene quiet side of the hillside. He certainly left a mark on us all. The Gambrell Family should be proud of this great man.
