Joe Riha Obituary
April 27, 1945 - November 18, 2021
Beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Retired from Westside Community Schools after 37 years. An avid Nebraska Football fan and loved collecting, showing, and racing cars for which he won many trophies. His favorite car was nicknamed "Jackrabbit." As a talented baseball player, he was once drafted into the Cardinals organization. Joe also loved to go fishing and hunting.
Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Helen Riha. Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Janice Riha; children, Bryan Riha, Joe Riha, and Janice Cunningham; granddaughter, Langley Riha; brother-in-law, Joe (Kim) Druskis; sister-in-law, Gloria (Tom) Hoggard; nieces and many friends.
VISITATION: Thursday, December 2, from 5-7pm with VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm at Bethany Funeral Home. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: December 3, from 10:30am at St. Columbkille Catholic Church. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery. The family requests all guests wear their favorite Big Red attire and to drive your favorite hotrod. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Dear Jan and family-i was so saddened to hear of the loss of Joe. You guys were some of the greatest people I dealt with at Dr Barones office. I know he will be missed, and I ask that God be with you in this grief stricken time.
