I was just a little guy, years ago when I lived across the street from the Burgs. John was a serious guy but I could always tell he was a good and honest man. John make the world a better place and his passing is a real loss.

With my sympathy,

Grace,
With deepest condolences on Uncle JD's passing. He will be truly missed. He has made his imprint on the youth of Omaha, the Americans in this world, and our family. My memories spent with JD will live on forever with me and I will pass them onto my family. My fondest memory is when Uncle JD and I went to a Husker football game Nov 89.
We love you and we have you in our prayers. The good Lord has another Damn GOOD Marine at Heaven's gate.
Love, Dale and family

Eleanor,

I'm so sorry to hear that John has passed. You were our Boyd Street neighbors for many years. We truly missed you when you moved. I always enjoyed my conversations with John and you. We recently moved away from our Boyd house, but I'll tell you what, the wonderful birdhouses are still hanging in the trees.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

With Love,
Penny, Jake and Mark
