Condolences to the entire Cieslik family, and especially to Mary Ann & Jack Flaherty and to Gene, from two old-timers from Sun Valley: Dick Madden & Jerry Norling.
Joe was one of the very best. I still remember a skiing episode when Joe was just getting started in the sport: a really fun time!!

Every once in awhile you met a person that you know is just a wonderful individual. Tho I did not know Joe that long he immediately became my friend when we met. He made a lasting impression on me. If only others could be like him.
He certainly loved his duck hunting and a good game of pitch.
My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

During this time of grief, my prayers are to ease the pain inside each of your hearts. The better the person, the more pain is felt when they are gone. Uncle Joe was an extraordinary person- caring, giving, compassionate, funny, hard-working and I'm sure even a little stubborn now and then. The ache must be HUGE. He influenced SO many people in SO many positive ways, even those of us who had little time with him. Find peace in knowing that he is in Paradise now and that you are an Amazing Family !! We will miss you Uncle Joe.

All of my memories of Joe are good. All it takes is for someone to say " Uncle Joe" and I get a happy warm feeling. I wish I could have spent more of my life around him, but I am happy for the times we had together. He was definitely one of my heroes.

Mary and family,
You have our deepest sympathies. We loved Joe and will miss him and his sense of humor. It seems we never have the time to do all that we would like before time has come and gone but the time we had are memories forever and good ones at that. You are in our thoughts and prayers. We are here if you need us for anything.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Joe's family. He was a wonderful man with a big heart. He always wanted to help others and never seemed to run out of patience. His smile could literally light up a room. He will be missed by the many people he has touched.
