June 15, 1930 - July 22, 2025

June Behrens, age 95, passed away on July 22, 2025.

She was born June 15, 1930, to the late Ivan and Ruby (Brown) Piper in Woodbine, Iowa. June graduated from Woodbine High School with the class of 1948 and retired from the Carter Lake Senior Center. She was a longtime member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Behrens; sister, Millie Butcher; brother, Donald Piper; granddaughters, Jamie Lynn Potter and Julianne Joy Potter.

June is survived by children, Rick (Connie) Behrens, Monte (Sharon) Behrens, Cindy (Steve) Potter, Tim (Gail) Behrens, Jeff (Alison) Behrens, and Kelly (Bobbie) Behrens; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Sunday, July 27, 2025. Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m., at First Church of the Nazarene on Monday, July 28, 2025. The family will direct memorials.
