Kandy Peck Obituary

Peck, Kandy Lynn

March 10, 1958 - November 8, 2022

Kandy Lynn Peck, age 64, of Omaha lost her battle to pancreatic cancer and passed away peacefully in her home with family on November 8, 2022. She was born on March 10, 1958 in Santa Ana, CA. She moved to Wallace, NE with her family when she was 10. Kandy graduated from Wallace High School in 1976, where she was in basketball, volleyball, track and choir. She moved with her daughters to Omaha in 1991.

Kandy wore her heart on her sleeve and always had a friendly smile for everyone she met. She loved the outdoors and was always up for an adventure in the Colorado mountains with her lifelong best friend, Peggy Corthouts. She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, working in her yard and doing projects around the house.

Kandy was preceded in death by her father, Donald Peck; mother, Lois Peck; and sister, Robin Gier.

Kandy is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Arnett-Russell (Chad), and Sabrina Schwenk (Mark); sister, Dawn Howery (Marvin); brother, Daryl Peck (Tatia); sister, April Peck; and grandchildren: Noah, Cayce, Keanan, Owen, Dominick, Liam and Evie.

There will be a Memorial Service in Wallace, NE to be announced at a later date.

The memories I have shared with Kandy was during high school. I remember the bus rides when traveling to games. She was in high spirits and fun loving. She was beautiful inside and out!
