Nate and Heather I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers go out to the whole family. I started on 8 south at Clarkson Hospital and Karen trained me. Karen was a fantastic nurse and friend. She will always hold a special place in my heart. I am truly sorry. RIP Karen, you are with Sione now. God bless you all.

I have many memories from working with Karen at Clarkson. She was a great nurse and I always enjoyed talking and laughing with her. She was a truly good person. I was especially delighted to find her at my new church a few years ago. We also had many chats in the aisles at Hy-Vee. But my favorite memory is when she babysat my daughter, Joy and dressed her in a tiger costume. Karen will be missed.
