Kent Custer Obituary

Custer, Kent C.

September 5, 1951 - October 13, 2023

On October 13, 2023, Kent received his call from heaven at age 72. He was born on September 5, 1951 to Wendell and Charlotte (Shomshor) Custer. Kent grew up in Fremont, NE. He retired from the Union Pacific Railroad. Kent had a passion for music, he played several instruments and wrote songs. He left an imprint on those he met through his ministry. Kent loved the Lord and the sharing of the gospel message. Kent is survived by his wife, Kim; daughters, Charity Zelinsky of Pennsylvania, Cory (Eric) Bone of Omaha; son, Seth (Christiana) of Waterloo; stepson, Chad (Andrea) Jorgensen of Tampa, FL.; brothers, Gary (Peg) Custer of Leesburg, FL., Rob (Beth) Custer of Fremont; five grandchildren and three step grandchildren.

May he rest in eternal peace. We will honor Kent's wishes for no services. Condolences may be left at duganchapel.com.
