Lawrence Partusch Obituary

Lawrence Eugene Partusch

September 14, 1955 - July 3, 2024

In Loving Memory of Lawrence Eugene Partusch.

Lawrence (Larry) Eugene Partusch, a dedicated businessman and beloved father, uncle, son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2024, in Anchorage, Alaska, at the age of 68. Born on September 14, 1955, in Omaha, Nebraska, Larry was the cherished son of Anton and Vincus Partusch. Larry's entrepreneurial spirit brought him to Alaska in 1981 as a journeyman plumber. The following year, he established Partusch Plumbing and Heating, which would go on to become an industry-leading plumbing contractor in the state. This company, along with numerous other business ventures, earned him great respect and admiration amongst peers within the industry. He used his professional success as a way to help others, through charitable giving that ranged from supporting local shelters and food kitchens, to building water wells in South Sudan. Larry also found great joy in hosting family and friends in Anchorage and sharing with them the beautiful landscapes and experiences that Alaska provides. However, Larry's greatest dedication was to his children, Antonia and Vincent, for whom he provided love and unwavering support. His legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire them and those whose lives he touched. A funeral mass to celebrate Larry's life will be held on August 2, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Anchorage, AK, followed by a celebration of life at Saint Coyote Restaurant at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, Larry's family requests memorial contributions be made to the contributor's charity of choice. He is survived by Antonia and Vincent Partusch, Tom and Nancy Partusch, Linda McGrail, Barbara and Paul Shell, Jerry and Mary Partusch, Mary and John Semonis, Tony and Noelle Partusch, and a multitude of cousins, nieces, nephews, and godchildren. May he rest in eternal peace. The service will also be available for viewing online

I would like to send deepest condolences to Larry's family. It was 22 years ago this month that I tagged along with Dale Partusch to visit Larry, and met his family. Aunt Vic and Uncle Tony were there at the same time. The warm hospitality extended by Larry provided cherished memories. God Bless.
