In reverent remembrance and with cherished memories held close, we gather to bid a solemn farewell to Le'Zah Chuvel Lewis, RN-a woman whose journey through life was adorned with extraordinary passion. Known for her indomitable spirit and unconditional compassion, Le'Zah embraced every moment with her heart on full display. She is survived by her devoted mother, Anjonette Lewis, and her father Douglas Morrow, Jr. and David Oliver. Alongside her four beloved children: Zahlé Bush, Alexander Gaskin-Smith, Zachary Gaskin-Smith, and Raj Midder, Jr., as well as her five dear siblings: Taylor Lewis, Zoia Morrow, Douglas Morrow III, Dupree McLucas Jr., and Derrien McLucas and her significant other, Raj Midder.
The legacy of Le'Zah inspires us to live life unapologetically, to dream without limits, and to carve paths where none exist. Her unwavering spirit and limitless empathy touched the lives of many, leaving an enduring impact that will forever resonate. Let us carry her memory in our hearts.
Wake services: Wednesday, August 9, 2023, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The following day, a heartfelt funeral service will take place at noon at St. John AME Church.
May the memory of Le'Zah Lewis be an eternal reminder to live with passion, zeal, and compassion, leaving an enduring legacy of kindness and love. In this moment of deep sorrow, we find solace in the knowledge that her extraordinary spirit will forever shine bright in our hearts.
